Sam Singer is a photographer from Chesham, Buckinghamshire. Based in London, and hungry for opportunity. Although only early in his career, Sam has made steps in his visual portfolio, with a profound connection to what happens in front of the camera rather than a simple observer behind the lens. Through a deep-rooted interest and involvement with underground urban culture, Sam has progressed from filming and photographing events, to channelling the same approach in the way he handles fashion. With his experience in DJing, and promotional work, he has first-hand experience in the world that he captures and uses this to portray his subjects empathetically.
Alongside his photography, Sam integrates his skills in graphic design, video editing into his projects, producing stylish visuals with a personal twist. While comfiest committing to guerrilla style photography of inner-city landscapes and subversive parties, Sam’s creative attitude to layout and mise en scene have made him a favourite of up-and-coming models, and musicians alike. While only 22 years old, Sam cut his teeth in the industry early, and now he’s looking to sharpen them with a variety of new projects that he can put his own imaginative spin on.
